Information and decoration
Glass can also provide information where transparency is required. Skilfully used fonts, colours and light create decorative or information elements for indoor and outdoor use.
Privacy screen
Printed glass is ideal for discreet privacy screens in all areas - whether in homes, workplaces, restaurants or public buildings. The view can be finely graded with appropriate patterns. The choice of printing process, degree of printing and colour has an influence on the light transmission of the glass. In this way, rooms can be illuminated with a lot of daylight despite printing.
Sun and glare protection
Printed glass has prevailed for active sun protection for the longest time. On the one hand, it saves structural interventions in the architectural language and replaces complex or conspicuous structural measures elsewhere. Printed glass has also proven its worth for simple, inconspicuous glare protection.
Active and passive safety
Thanks to continuous further development, the material also meets the requirements of active and passive safety. Depending on the printing process, printed glass can be further processed or combined into toughened safety glass (ESG), semi-tempered glass (TVG) and/or laminated safety glass (VSG) to ensure additional protection and safety. This means that creative ideas and uniform concepts can also be extended to applications with higher security requirements. For example for shop windows, doors, partitions, railings and parapets as well as staircase, floor and overhead glazing.
